On the Grid

I really enjoyed Tron. Saw it at the weekend at a preview and wasn't at all disappointed. I suppose it helps that the first words in the movie were 'The Grid' and it's about someone who has been living in the Grid for 20 years - I can empathize!

I'm not sure if the Grid (the band...) were directly influenced by the original Tron; I can't remember thinking about Tron when we named the band. We had two names we were thinking of using. We were either going to be called the Grid or...the Matrix! Damn that pre-cognition...

Anyway see Tron in the best movie house you can find, IMAX preferably, and dive in. It's pure techno.

New Time and Space Machine album

Today is the first day of recording the second Time and Space Machine album. We're in Strongroom studio 1 in East London, with Wildcat Will laying down a bunch of drum tracks. The grooves are sounding good.... more news as it comes....
