The Time and Space Machine Turn You On

An ultra-limited CD of psych re-edits is available now, from Rough Trade and other fine establishments. It's a compilation of the limited vinyl 12" EP's Volume 1, 2 and 3, wrapped in a tasty Luke Insect sleeve. Turn on....

A remix mini-mix

There's a 10 minute mix of some of my more remixes here. The tracks are:

2. Visti and Meyland - Stars
3. Andrew - F.R.E.S.H
4. Kirsty Almeida - Spider
5. DJ Harvey presents Locolossus - I Want It

It's a fairly Balearic, rather than psychedelic selection, so if you are Balearically inclined please dive in....

On the Grid

I really enjoyed Tron. Saw it at the weekend at a preview and wasn't at all disappointed. I suppose it helps that the first words in the movie were 'The Grid' and it's about someone who has been living in the Grid for 20 years - I can empathize!

I'm not sure if the Grid (the band...) were directly influenced by the original Tron; I can't remember thinking about Tron when we named the band. We had two names we were thinking of using. We were either going to be called the Grid or...the Matrix! Damn that pre-cognition...

Anyway see Tron in the best movie house you can find, IMAX preferably, and dive in. It's pure techno.
